In the last three years we have witnessed the emergence of a new trend. At this time large institutions have driven complex technical and strategic processes to transform their data in commercial operations products and services, generating an extra value to their customers.

BBVA has been one of the pioneering companies in the world to launch this new business paradigm. We have been fortunate to participate with them in one of their experiences, latrl_. This product driven by BBVA uses data from the financial operations of the bank's customers to build a system that can help anyone to decide what to buy in an urban environment thanks to a mobile application.

In this project, Bestiario_ participated in the phases of product conceptualization, design, development and testing. One of the most interesting challenges with latrl_ was to define the way the user would have to define their queries to the system. We propose a solution that relied on the literal construction of a question. This form of interaction proved to be a success, because the interaction with the application turned out to be much like a conversation, much more "soft" than conventional forms of interpellate a database.
